Longtime customer Phillips Van Heusen approached Galaxy 61 to do a 3D Animation demo of their new Magna-Click dress shirt. It’s a part of their “adaptive clothing” line for the differently abled community.

The brief included a wide shot of the shirt magnets snapping closed up the front of the shirt with just one flick, as well as an exploded view of the magnetic button components. This was all rendered in a chalkboard sketch style using Maya’s PaintFX and toon shading. In addition to the spot, we created elements for a 3D lenticular POS display.
